GENERAL SAFETY RULES & REGULATIONS

 

~ Registration Closes @ 12:30PM - No Exceptions ~

 

1-     All contestants enter at their own risk.  No intoxicated competitors will be allowed to pull.  All contests are governed by track officials.

2-     A lottery system will be used to determine pull position.  Entry fee refunded only if driver scratches before hook-up.

3-     Driver must weigh with tractor.

4-     No tractor may enter more than once per class.  Tractor must meet class rules.

5-     Flywheel shielding, side shielding, helmets and fire extinguishers are recommended in all classes.

6-     * Kill switches, deadman throttle, stabilizer bars, fenders which support drivers weight and stock appearing seat are required.

7-     Stabilizer bars are REQUIRED TO BE at least 32" from center of rear axle with pads a maximum of 10" off the ground, spaced at least 24" apart and must support tractor weight.

8-     SOMEONE IS REQUIRED TO BE ON TRACTOR WHEN IT IS RUNNING.

9-     No Nitrous oxide.

10- All exhaust must discharge vertically up or down, including pick-ups.(not rear or side discharge)

11- No home-built 4 wheel drive, crawler type tractors, no dual wheels, chains or studded tires allowed.

12- If tractor loses ballast weight or safety equipment while under green flag, it will be disqualified.

13- Driver must remain seated while tractor is under green flag and must have complete control of the vehicle or tractor at all times.

14- Drawbar height will be 20" minimum hitch length to be 18" from center of rear axle; must remain rigid in all directions.  No 3-point hitches.

15- Front weights must not extend more than 24" beyond the frame casting.  Rear weights must not extend more than the wheelie bars.  Weights must not interfere with hook-up.

16- Tractor disqualified for not opening side shield for inspection.

17- If less than 4 tractors in a class, prize money may be adjusted.

 

* not required but encouraged for Farmers Stock Class.

1-     Motor and Turbo Charger Limitations:

a.       Fuel pump P-pump or A-Pump permitted

b.      One turbo charger per tractor-specifications:  2 " inlet and 3" outlet maximum;  No sleeves, no slots.  Maximums will be measured at the wheel face.  (Inlet and Outlet)- air wheels must protrude into the inlet and outlet openings.  Small base.

c.       DIESEL FUEL ONLY

2-     OEM Stock INTAKE and Stock EXHAUST manifolds ONLY.

3-     Water:

a.       Water injection ONLY

b.      NO ALCOHOL (ie., methanol, ethanol, etc.)  Water injection PUMP lubrication oil is ACCEPTABLE.

4-     Motor Appearance: Stock engine block, no deck plate(s), stock heads-No steel billet or aluminum heads.

5-     Transmission:  Factory transmission.  No bolt-in transmissions, gear changes inside transmission are acceptable.

6-     Tire size:  20.8"x38" maximum.  No double cut tires.  No cut radial tires.

7-     Roll cage or Rops rollover devices are required w/ seat belt.

8-     Steel flywheel w/ blanket.

9-     Wheelie bars.

 

Farmers Stock Class

1-     Stock turbo no larger than 3LM.

2-     Stock pump.(NO P-Pumps)

3-     Tire sizes.  Production tires only for that model.

4-     No cut tires.

5-     Stock RPM. (not to exceed 2600 RPM)

6-     Must have fenders.

7-     Stock block.

8-     18" drawbar height.  3 x 3 hole size.

9-     Must have standard PTO & 3 point hitch for production models.

10- 6 mph Pace tractor.

11- 1 hook per tractor.

12- No Weights hanging on 3 point or hanging above drawbar.

13- Meyer Manufacturing of Dorchester, WI. is offering the usage of a forage box, for the period of one year, as the prize for the winner of the Farmers Stock Class Lottery. The winner will be selected by drawing, and must sign an affidavit as to the exact location of where the box will be used.
